960 4gb vs 970 4gb

What's the difference? in this day and age is there any worry with running current gen games (gta 5, black ops 3, fallout 4 ect) at ultra or at high? (1080p)

The GTX 960 has a 128 bit memory bus meaning it can't really take advantage of it's memory, whereas the GTX 970 can.

Mind you, the R9 380 is better than the GTX 960 and the R9 390 is better than the GTX 970.

970 has 3.5GB usable.

390 has all 8GB usable. 390 is a better deal.

960 is beaten by the R9 380.

960 is cheaper, slower and uses less power than the 970, both will run modern games easily enough though dropping settings is obviously necessary for the 960 compared to the 970.

970 has a higher memory bus.

970 is also faster than the 960.

But you know what's faster than both of them? An R9 390.
