I am but the Core i5-2320 minimum CPU has me a little concerned since I'm not much above it with a Core i5-2500K. May have to increase the clock again.

I highly doubt that will be an Issue, the 2500K Is still a very capable CPU.

 

Cool because I don't plan on upgrading for at least another year.

That's kind of on you though. And the story shouldn't matter that much in a open world game like Fallout. Give it a week for the excitement to pass and check again, that's when the real quality of the game will be reveled.

I would have thought so too, but when a story is more than 20 hours long, has 2 different endings I take it as a big/important part of  the game even in a Bethesda game, otherwise why would they bother so much with it. Well I might get the game but from what I've seen I probably won't. If I do though I would probably completely ignore the main storyline as I saw it to be trash. So then there are sidequests and the open world, which isnt really that big, most of it is just open space with mostly only enemy encounters. They said you can enter every building and that there is a lot to explore there but I doubt the interiors would keep me occupied for long. The sidequests and mods could save the game for me though. I will see. 

 

The world looks like it doesn't have much to offer, I like Skyrim's while very different world much better because it felt more alive(maybe because Fallout's is a wasteland :P) but still it felt like there was more to explore, encounter there other than just random enemy encounters. 

 

But I will still give it a chance, wait and see the reviews. The big game from Bethesda(well published by Bethesda) that I'm expecting is Dishonored 2 anyway.
