OS for granny's new PC

Hi, I'm building a new PC for my granny and I have all the specs I'm going to use and I'm going to pay during Black Friday week but will Windows go for 100 or under or will my PC's specs run OS X?

If I can use Mac OS X My budget is $600 (Better motherboard and wi-fi probably). I'm really hoping I can get Windows for <100 on Black Friday because I really don't want to ask them to go over-budget. Thanks for all the continued help guys.

I got a copy of windows 8.1 pro from there at least 7 months ago, and it's worked perfectly.

If you watched Linus' Hackintosh video, not all components are compatible with OS X. Remember, it's made for Mac's, from Apple. Not custom PC's.

I believe most of the issues of OS X compatibility have to do with drivers. I would check out Tonymacx86 for more details about hackintoshes, and parts compatibility.

Well, I found Windows 7 Pro for 20 bucks so I think that this is solved. That link really saved my but
