im still gonna try my best :)

my sister had a C in geometry so my parents are being lenient towards it :P

 

she had like a 4.2 gpa or some shit, something above 4

Good luck! Honestly, I hated Geometry, myself. I utterly despised those dumb, tedious proofs. Blegh.

I'm not doing as well as I would like to. (70 and above is passing)

 

AP Environmental Science- 91

AP Spanish 4- 96 (Native Speaker)

Pre-AP Pre-Cal- 65 

Computer Science 2 AP- 89

English 3- 81

AP US History- 75

Physics- 92

 

As you can see I really struggle in Pre-Cal. But most of these grades are to blame on myself, I put minimal effort into school and I know those grades could be higher if I tried. I'm just too fucking lazy and caught up in computers to bother. Hopefully I get my shit together.

I listen but sometimes they all look/sound the same

 

also my teacher looks legit like GabeN and is probabley one of the shittest teachers i've had

I'm two years ahead in math, meaning that I took Geometry HN in middle school. Since we took it then and not in highschool our teachers were super lax about it and we could basically half ass the theorems/postulates/logic.

In all honestly, i'm not that bad of a student, probably best in whole school actually.

 

Atm I have all A's and All A's on my last report card, and just recently the results for the state tests came in a few days ago, and I got 99% better then the average student on Math, lol.. 74% better then the average student on English.

I tske college classes, with college students, while I am a freshman in Highschool. I like to keep A's and B's but if I get a C, as long as I know I tried I,let one slip here and there. 2 in my whole life but college level physical science will make it 3

My teacher is basically a crackhead. He talks really fast and he got a DUI 4 years ago. I think he is bipolar, too. He is currently on "an extended absence". Probably in rehab. The teachers won't tell use why he's gone so I wouldn't doubt if I did something,

Was top 20 with the highest GPA in high school...to be exact 17th.

 

4 A's, 3 B's, and 2 C's for the rest of the crap I did not care too much for. 2nd year, 1st term in college.

It is ok, My teacher sucks also but she grades homework on whether you have it done or not LOL so I feel dumb as can be when doing it because she does nothing to teach us. If we atleast tried it, 3/3 lol

I also have a teacher that looks like GabeN too! Most teachers I have are horrible. One I have now said she wants to "experiment" and have you teach yourself the lesson and try to solve it without asking her a question. Then what is the point of having a teacher?

No one cares about your GPA unless it's a very high profile job, especially not your freshman year, so if you screw up your first year don't worry, employers were young once too.

GPA can make a difference for entry level jobs and internships. Depends on the company or organization really. Anything above a 3.0 for engineering majors and you won't have anything to worry about. Below 3.0 and you might have some difficulty getting into an industry of your choice. However from what I saw at school, engineers with GPAs between say 2.5 and 3.5 tend to be a lot more on the practical side, and 3.5s and above tended to go into graduate programs.

 

In personal experience, having a GPA over 3.0 got me an extra $10k/year boost in starting salary.

Mostly C's, there were a few D's and F's and also a few A's, but averages out to about C's.

 

Reason? Too busy with other things. School sucked. The people sucked. I studied for the tests and skipped the homework. No point wasting my time on homework when I could be learning about things I'm actually interested about which the educational system lacks.

 

I still graduated, teachers loved me becaus I wasn't an ass in class, and I've been working on and off this past year doing contracting for networking and IT. I'm currently applying for some permanent positions around my area. I'd rather work my ass off and work my way up than sit in some stupid college class wasting hundreds or thousands of dollars on useless classes. I already know what I want to do as a career, no point going to college when I can start working now.

 

And I'm not saying college is worthless, I'm saying it's worthless for me. If you're interested in being something like a lawyer or a doctor, please go to college.
