Thanks. Is there a problem with putting memory in the slot closest to the fan, or will the fan touch it?

3rd day no update :-O

 

here I was thinking I'd get to use my new Rig on my weekend.

New Jersey to Montana - at what point do I draw a point for concern?

 

 

I am already concerned as now I have to go out to the bars this weekend instead of use my new rig.

I've been reading on USPS and everyone seems to agree that they are fowl with updating tracking.

 

 

 

so another novice question-

 

My card has a 6 pin and 8 pin connector on it..

 

am I meant to plug in both..? or is it simply a function added for versatility?

@TechGod my cpu is in town ^___^ should receive it tomorrow! I'll get home at 6pm Mountain time.

 

Should have it together and booted by 7ish. :-) assuming my flash drive boot goes well

Hello everyone- I got my CPU for this build but I can't seem to get it to power up.

 

 

 

I have two points of power going to my board from my PSU -

two connections going to my GPU

RAM is in

SSD and HDD are both in along with CPU

 

 

I get a white power light on my mother board but no power upon pushing my ON switch on the tower.

 

I have checked all the wires running from the onboard switch for power into the JFPT1 on my board.

Just to confirm, do you hear any fans spinning? There's a light on the motherboard that turned on which definitely means it's getting power.

bathrooms have highest rated AMP load for CODE [being household electrical USA code]

Stop!  Looking at your pictures, you do NOT have the case's power button cable in the right area... check you motherboard manual.
