Good catch Gnome... I am glad you are relatively intelligent.  ;):):D

battery wasn't in.

Comes from factory just... sitting in there? I guess.. not secured..

I tried a "hard reboot" as you do with other tech... killed it brain.. went to take the battery out.. to find out it wasn't in.

Amazing. Glad you caught it.

I am installing Windows now-

I had put my board in my Case last night after getting it to boot.. Then upon spending time routing it all nice... Couldn't get it to boot again... So I took it out.. For a fifth time.. And for some reason it now wasn't booting with the second stick of RAM in. (Booted like this before installing into case)

So after Windows installs I'll turn it off and see about getting it in the case and working >___>...

Installing Windows on my board on it's box right now..

I'm sure many would advise against it but I believe I'll have something together by the end of the night.

Only has one 8gb stick and no GPU on it but it's functional as is.

Looks like one of my 8gb sticks is broken... Worked yesterday.. Both of em. Got home today and now one has a split in the case as provides a Null if it's in motherboard when I try to power up..

There went $50.

I believe my girlfriend broke it .. When I was at work. I asked her and she claims otherwise.. Looks like it hit the ground as the metal case that interlocks into itself is opened on the dead one while the other works..

Can you buy single sticks of RAM? I thought it was strictly sold in pairs or Quad sets

You can buy single sticks. You would want exactly the same speed and timings. In fact you would want the part number to be the same except the section of the original kit number that indicates it is a dual channel kit. There is a small chance the sticks will not operate in dual channel mode.

Just ran Unigene Heaven Benchmarker on ultra at 1080p maxed at 136FPS and averavged 86 on a 60 second run.

I am feeling that GPU already. haven't even downloaded any big programs and just two Chrome, MS Edge, and Heaven I was at %52 RAM usage.

Sad days.

would have only been at %26.
