Do you think that the prices on these items will be better around black friday time or are they as good as it gets?  I am trying to decide whether to wait or buy now.  The GPU and CPU are what affect the price the most but I don't know if that will go on sale or not.  What you do guys and gals think?

Sense black friday is close I'll wait. Anyhow get the r9 390 it outperforms the 970 in some games in 1080p.

The efficiency of the power it draws from the wall to the amount it uses IE electric bill will go down probably around 25cents  a month min if you use it alot

The difference from bronze to gold is 5%. Let's say that OP does HEAVY usage for four hours a day and is pulling 500 watts from the wall during that time; the rest of the day the computer is on and using 50 watts at idle. There's 1000 watts in one kw, so op is using .5kw x 4 hours (2kw/h) and .05 x 20 hours (1kw/h). Let's say OP uses 3 kw/h a day to run his PC. that's 93 kw/h a month. If OP was using a gold rated instead of a broze PSU, he would be using 5% less; 5% of 93kw/h is 4.65kw/h.

 

The average rate in the UK for hydro is about £0.10 a kw/w. A computer with a bronze PSU might cost OP £9.30 a month to run. OP would stand to save £0.47 a month by moving up to gold. If OP spent an extra £10 to upgrade to a gold rated PSU, it would take nearly two years to recoup the the cost in electricity savings.
