Mother fucker :lol: , "memory speed doesn't matter in gaming" they said, so I bought 1600MHz Latency 9 :( Oh well, split milk and all. Thanks for the link.

 

 

EDIT, watch that 6300 AMD go though, that's surprising.

 

Could be worse. They said "memory speed doesn't matter in gaming" so I bought 1600 MHz CAS 11.  :lol:

Makes it feel like the old days when I'd buy CAS 3 DDR and fine tune it to run at CAS 2 and it made a big difference in gaming performance.  :lol:

Cyber Monday is coming, and DDR3 should be on sale since they want to get rid of it. I was going to go for 32g of overkill but after seeing that I'll be on the lookout for some faster ram.
