PC POWER

Its not that bad, no offence, but you made it seem like its bad.

It's not something I want, I just stated my opinion.

I didn't say that it was bad.

I never said you said it was bad...

Just saying the "1080p? No thanks" made it seem you meant its bad.

Honestly. I don't think we should be gaming at 1080p on 27inch monitors anymore. Lower size is fine but 27 inch is just too pixelated. It's 2015 and 1440p monitors are in the <$250 range and 1440p capable GPUs like the 290(x) and 780(ti) are around $200. I see people spending much more than $450 on a 1080p gpu + monitor setup.

Good Luck.  If you can find a 780ti (new) for even $300 (up to $350) you are a master at finding deals and all the other compliments.  (please post the link if you know of one).

Ive been looking, trust me.

I know im in canada but i would pay the extra shipping and the canadian to united states dollar just for the 780ti new.  However, after $300 US it starts to not be worth it after $350, i would just get a 970...  remember, im speaking from USA dollar to CDN dollar, if your in the US, its worth it.

And yeah i agree that 1080p on 27" is a bit much, for the price and features, i think you could live with it.

780ti is EOL. However EVGA sells them B Stock for $180 for ftw model and $190 for the Kingpin. If you want to buy EOL products brand new that's your problem because obviously the retailer is going to overcharge since they are out of production. I got my r9 290 for $143 from microcenter basically unopened. I'm in the US. We have a lot of the Kepler and Hawaii stuff left over from when it was $500+ so now retailers are selling them for extremely cheap. If you miss the boat you miss it

It's at $329 at the moment but it's not a deal. Sam's Club regularly sells this monitor for $299, and it recently went on sale for $269, the "originally $529" is to gather interest in the product.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.
