All the "overhead" photos of our milky way galaxy are a lie. None of them are real. Nothing man made has ever left the galaxy that could take pictures of it.

The OP said photos of OUR galaxy, not of other galaxies.  And yes, nothing man made has yet left the confines of our solar system. Voyager 1 is almost there though.  Voyager 1 has left our solar system and entered interstellar space.

The ones that we see are images of a Galaxy similar to ours

Most of them are artist interpretations.

What I am disappointed even more is the fact that all cities in the world have so much light pollution that we can't see such beautiful night skies.

And define overhead as the OP said. When there is no up or down in space

There is when talking about spiral galaxies, they are pretty damn flat.

That is bs. We can't see that much light with our eyes, there is NO WAY you see the clouds with your eyes, you need long exposure.

Something like that would be the most that you could ever see with your eyes.

I've actually been to areas where there is very low light pollution and seen parts of the Milky Way Galaxy with my own eyes.

By "overhead" I mean top down looking at the spiral, not taking a picture from the inside and seeing a cloud of stars :)

Yes, small parts, which is mostly just stars. Can't see the clouds.

Although I did once realise it, when playing halo 3 after being teleported somewhere (really cant remember, must play it again, god :P Although here's the scene if it'll ring any bells ----> bloop   :) ) its in the sky, and a solider mentions it, the solider only says it once every now and again, or if you look i cant remember.

Bleigh!  Ever hear of AC series?

Go to the Southern Hemisphere, visit a very remote area miles and miles away from the nearest city/source of light pollution.

Objects like the Orion Nebula are visible to the naked eye in low light pollution regions.
