Need help. Possible bottleneck or something else?

Hi guys! I need to your help. I bought a EVGA GTX 970 SSC Yesterday and noticed that in BF4 I'm getting random drops and lower fps than expected. I don't know if my FX 8350 is bottlenecking my GPU or is it something else? I have even lowered the settings and still get low fps(to the 40s) in big explosions etc. Any suggestions? Here I will leave 2 videos that I recorded, showing the FPS and hardware monitor. First video is of BF4 on Ultra and the other one is of the Battlefront beta. Any help will be greatly appreciated and thanks!

They might still be processing, but it was recorded at 1080p 60fps.

No it's not bottlenecking.  An overclock on the FX will get even more performance too.

I'm am considering getting a new CPU. But even though the CPU usage doesn't reach 100% on BF4, why is the GPU Usage is jumping around and going so low

Urm just overclock your FX8350, its more than capable enough to play BF4... What motherboard do you have, if you tell me you have a shit one, then you might as well upgrade to skylake. Having a stock 8350 is pointless, to get the most out of that CPU it needs to be heavily overclocked an your RAM needs to be set up with the lowest timings you can get (Cas latency) @ 1866mhz or more. Then there is overclocking the HT link and the NB the 970 and overclocking your PCIe lanes a little bit.

Because it's not needed to be pinned at 100% all the time?

I have seen other people have the same random frame drops problem. If you have a good motherboard (one with like 8 VRMs) I suggest that you follow the peoples advice and overclock your CPU. The 8350 is known for being a great overclocker, there are many guides on how to overclock the CPU.

If the overclock does not work you will probably have to either wait for AMD's ZEN CPUs or change over to Intel.

Hope this helps

So I have figured out what was the problem... It seems that Geforce Experience installed the windows 10 drivers on top of the old windows 8.1 one.(I did the Win10 upgrade) I un-installed the latest drivers and the windows 8.1 ones popped up on my programs, so I uninstalled them too and performed a clean install of the drivers. Now BF4 runs at 80-100 fps on Ultra and no dips to the 40s like before. Thank you all for helping!
