CPU Cooler for under 40€?

Strom

This is my build and i'm and everything is chosen but i'm not sure about cpu cooler. 212 evo is classic but is there something that is better than it or about as good as it in the same price range? Link to my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/4rdtGX

well if you want to be able to overclock your cpu to its full potential, you're going to need a better cpu cooling solution. those are the two that will allow you to get a solid overclock. that or the h60 from corsair. save up more money or scrap something else on the list.

there are people around here who say that they've overclocked their i5 with the 212 evo to 4.6 ghz with great temps, but i don't know... give it a shot

This.

The U12S is a nice cooler that is good for non-overclocking. It's a bit expensive but worth it. If you want to overclock it in the future, then I would recommend an air cooler instead of AIO. My brother has the U12S and he's happy with it, he plays mostly CS Source though.

Overall its better than 212 Evo. Less noise, more cooling performance. Only thing is that its often priced bit higher than 212.
