Specific LTT video era

Here is question for those of you who are long time LTT video watchers -  Roughly when (I forget) did Linus and Luke do videos out of Linus's garage? what year(s) was that? And to get even more specific when did the videos move away from the old falling box intro? 

 

I want to do a nostalgic trip but I don't how far back to go.

2012-2013 for your first question. The "falling box intro" was NCIX's intro.

But did they not run with that for bit after? or did they do away with that intro when Linus stopped being so closely tied to NCIX?

I think the latter.
