lg g watch MASSIVE battery drain.

smeek14

Hi all, yesterday I  picked up an lg g watch and paired it to my htc one m8.  I am having severe battery drain.  I had it on last night.  I went to bed at mid night and woke up and 5.  Battery was at 64 percent and started at 100.  Restarting did not help.  Also I have turned off the always on screen.

Does anyon have any possible solutions?e

oops xD

As far as I know, "smart" watches in general have awful battery life.

I have seen some threads where people can make it for a day or more.

Like I have had it on for 3 hours and it is already at 68 percent.

I had a Moto 360 for a little while before I returned it and had a similar issue, I did fix it although I'm not entirely sure how. Make sure you have the latest update, let it run through a few charge cycles. My best guess is that there are background transfers and updates going on and they occur 24/7 when you first get the watch.

I'll take your advice.

Any improvement?

I am afraid that the battery life has not improved.
