Can anyone relate to this? I'm considered a "tech god" amongst my friends (as all enthusiasts are) due to my knowledge of computer hardware, but I'm terrible at math :( Surprisingly I get top marks for physics yet I fail at math...

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Same boat. Math is my absolute worst subject, I'm much better in English and history, but I'm yoloing my way to an electrical engineering degree.

you better start reading those calc books now, boy.

Glad to see I'm not alone :) I have no idea why I struggle to grasp advanced math concepts yet I have no problem understanding the most abstract physics topics... there must be something wrong with me...

Everyone's brain is built differently(though based around the same concept), and excel at different areas.

Me too, well not that horrible, I am still in difficult classes but I take some time to understand correctly. But with computers, physic, chemistry, natural sciences and all thoses things I don't even have to study and I get good grades...

I'm pretty good at maths but need a calculator for my working. It was not that long back though when I could solve almost every maths sum without a calculator. That was when I was doing the ICSE boards. I get pretty good marks in the subject regardless. ;)

I've Aced both Math and Physics. Both come almost instinctively for me. I can do fairly complicated arithmetic and estimation in my head.

Well I can't relate unfortunately. I love math, physics, comp. sci.

I don't know why, but in general I like thinks with applied theory or problem solving.
