Hello LTT forums.

My name's Serena, I work at Google, and I've been watching LTT since March 2013 when I bought my first mechanical keyboard. I fell in love with Linus' videos because his voice was very easy for me to listen to while trying to sleep.

Anyway, I don't usually like forums. I haven't been a big part of a forum since 2009, but I've wanted to get back into it.

The reason I made this forum is because I've been frantically looking for Scrap Yard Wars 3 on Vessel, but I just decided to wait and stop obsessing over it, it'll come eventually.

Anyway I hope I can contribute to this forum in some way or another with my experience to help others, or just chat.

I think I met Luke at PAX East once. I don't remember if it was 2014 or 2015 though. Anyway I'm bad at introductions, also say anyway a lot.

When I watched the video with Linus and his son building a PC, and his son picked an AMD card, I said "burn him" without even thinking. Though generally I don't argue on the Internet. There's no point when everyone is wrong anyway and the best products don't exist yet.

What do you do at google?

Just curious cause I want to do software engineering after high school :P

What do you do at google?

I do a lot of work on Chrome. Specially all the things people hate about it online. But at Google I'm personally not locked to Chrome, because I got hired for security due to being noticed in a really old hacking scandal from 2011 that I won't name but you can probably guess. Anyway I like to work on Chrome in my downtime, but my main focus originally from security. My business card says security, and not chrome.

I only sleep these days if I have something talking towards me. Whether it be a podcast, video, or whatever.

That's going to be a tough career, you better be super duper good on math and computer science. 

I am good at both of those :P And yeah, I know its pretty tough.
