Carl Icahn has announced that he now has a “large position” in Apple and that he feels the company is far undervalued. This news prompted Apple’s share prices to increase as investors took Icahn’s remarks as good news.

Maybe if this had come from someone other than one of the biggest shareholders of apple i would be able to discount that there isn't any bias, but since it is......

I believe him, despite the potential for bias. A company with holdings and a total worth of $400 billion should be selling for more than $480 per. 

 

If they move to complete the $60B buyback sooner, their shares will rise to Sept. 2012 levels.
