Passwords and I'd assume usernames were compromised, if you use a third party service to log in, your information is safe.

If you log in via Steam, Twitter, or Facebook, you should be fine. This is all explained in depth in the official thread regarding this:

The only data that was compromised in the breach was the username and password of members who logged into the forum by logging in using their username and password between the 11th August and the 25th September. There is no chance that your password for a remote site has been compromised because we have no access to such details.
