Haha Pyropuncher, he lives very close to me. Knew he would be popular enough but didn't think he would be on an Americans top list before the rest of Mindcrack.

They are really just random, no way I could pick a top 3. Maybe if it was narrowed down to genres.

LinusTechTips aside, my favorite 3 channels are:

 

Rooster Teeth. (mainly for RWBY and the podcast, and recently The Patch)

 

Vsauce (all 3 of them)

 

TotalBiscuit, The Cynical Brit. Hes a brit, hes cynical.

 

Honorable mentions: Gophervids, Mod creator and lets player. Also THAT ACCENT.

 

Theengineerguy, explains the engineering marvels in everyday products, he takes fu**ing forever to upload, but when he finally does, its top.
