Maybe go 4 cores, but no way in hell will they go with 6. Unless I'm wrong and they go and surprise everybody. People don't really care about the core count in iPhones, cause they always perform well. Apple doesn't need 2 freaking quad cores tied together, I'm pretty sure they know what they're doing when it comes to SoCs and so far 2 cores have been more than enough to embarrass the competition.

Their next core upgrade would probably go to 3. iPad apps already leverage 3 cores so going to 3 on the iPhone would be logical.

Actually a good reason for the iPhone to have the screen resolution it does. Excellent graphics, less demanding than 1080p, no interpolation caused by running 1080p screen at non-native res.

Yeah I really like the iPhone screen, i honeslty dont see why anybody needs higher, maybe it could be slightly improved but theres no need for these silly displays
