Not going to try another gpu from asus

nanowatt

I was thinking about that to be honest...and right now i don't know if i should rma it and waster another 2 weeks waiting for a new one or if i should try to solve it tweaking around

Are you using a DVI to VGA adapter or not?

Does the card work with HDMI?

If you're using a DVI to VGA adapter, have you tried both DVI ports?

BTW (DVI to VGA adapters cause this issue):

If so then you're down to the last part... you NEED an active DVI-D to VGA adapter. If you don't want to go that route then..

Try tweaking you monitors Clock and Phase in the monitors settings (use this website to get your monitor properly optimized):

This issue sometimes happens when both your monitor and PC are connected to the same power outlet. You can try plugging them into their own separate outlets (Example not in a power bar).

Good luck!

My first card was the 270x from Asus, I had to RMA through Newegg which took weeks. I tried giving it that BIOS update and it just wrecked the card(probably my fault.)

I suggest not using an adapter. And sorry with all the other crap in this thread I can't rememeber, did you try using HDMI?

DVI-D dual link ports on your radeon cards dude. A DVI to VGA won't work. You'd need an active DVI-D to VGA adapter.

Good luck!

REPOST BECAUSE OP SEEMS TO BE IGNORING THIS

YOU NEED AN ACTIVE DVI-D to VGA ADAPTER
