welll I maxed everything but it turns out corssfire on DX11 causes the game to crash on random...

and I was recomended to either revert to using DX10.1 or disabling CF - showed my dissatisfaction

and the guy spit this one out and I almost crapped my pants of excitement

Well it undoubtfully is if Async Compute is used to it's potential as Radeon cards have insane computing power.

Hope to see them able to offload some AI and the god damn grass to it.

Besides ACE it's pretty much the same as any nVidia I would gess?

 

Maybe we will see even higher population count and geater viewing distances

Why would it? the X1 already uses a lower level API thats probably better than DX12

This is great for APU users. Every benchmark and review of Kaveri shows it doing well against the I5 except on GTA V. Thanks for the info

Good, maybe it will fix the err_gtx_d3d_init error that has been happening since launch that Rockstar has done nothing about.

Especially when I got my Athlon X4 860K, I didn't hear anything about GTA V being a cpu intensive game, now it bottlenecks my R9 270.

Guys, this is an old thread. And that support guy is clueless. He seems to have assumed that since W10 supports DX12, when the game gets some updates for W10 it will then run under DX12.
