I see crap like this on the forums all the time, and it's really starting to piss me off:

Basically what he did was make a post about his "dead friend" to raise funds for his own gaming rig. 

 

The proof is in the image. I hate it when people beg for things and then use a soft-spot alias for receiving what they want. 

 

Dual 970's and a 4790K for a folding@home rig... Pshh. Yeah, right.

It's just one of those things that you have to brush off and move on.

 

You could click it, it wouldn't do anything but take you to the page. Anyway, it got taken down, so good riddance.

"Help fight back" was the title of the topic. He wanted to fight back against the cancer that killed his friend by building a PC to fold proteins.

I see this, wonder about who would actually donate, and move on. So he wants to get free money and found a way to maybe raise a bit. Great for him. Neeeeeeext.

Tip to those that are new on LTT forum- quote a post so that the person you are quoting gets a notification, otherwise they'll have no idea that you did. You can also use a tag such as @Ryoutarou97 (replace my username with anyone's. You should get a dropdown after you type the "@")to send a notification, but quoting is preferable.

 

Feel free to PM me about absolutely anything be it tech, math, literature, etc. I'll try my best to help. I'm currently looking for a cheap used build for around $25 to set up as a home server if anyone is selling.

 

If you are a native speaker please use proper English if you can. Punctuation, capitalization, and spelling are as important to making your message readable as proper night theme formatting is.

 

My build is fully operational, but won't be posted until after I get a GPU in it and the case arted up.
