What is the best GTX 980 Ti

The problem is I can not actually purchase the kingpin in my country and that is why I thought it wasn't out yet. Any other card you recommend?

Why? Isn't the lightning better than the g1 gaming? Not judging your decision!

The lightnings cooler is supposed to be insanely good based on guru3d's review, but it's probably going to be quite a bit more expensive than the G1.

If it's only a few bucks more I say get it. Guru 3d was raving about the cooler keeping it really cool whilst being silent.

I think I will go with the lightning if no one proves me otherwise since I read that the lightning has 700w heat dissipation and the g1 has 600w plus the rgb lighting :P

What are some of the cons and pros with the amp extreme? I see that you have the card so I pressume you have some experience with it.

I wouldn't pay any attention to the whole "we can dissipate this much heat!"

You won't ever be able to make a maxwell card pull much more than 300w without crashing on air, or water. Maxwell really doesn't like heat when you're trying to push a lot of mhz & voltage.

The Lightning card is definitely designed better than the G1 though, better components, better PCB design, memory voltage control etc.

Now it stands between the lightning and the amp extreme. I know I am being very picky and I apoligize for that!

Lighting it is.

Just be in mind that it is a 2.5 slot card.

I cant realy say negative things about it.

Its ridiculous fast

Boost 1418mhz no OC

1550Mhz max stable OC

Memory +1000Mhz OC

max usage 321w

Max Temps 1440p full Load 70° 70% Fanspeed. Noise i guess around ~40db. Cant say that for sure.

Firestrike 19689

Its 3 slots Design, so maybe could make Problems if you want SLI.

This is one of the fastest Cards and the fastest out of the box.

Edit: Ignore Kingpin suggestions.

According to the website it can only go 2 way sli. I plan on getting a second one in the future. I think I will go with the lightning since it has the rgb lighting and it can perform as well as the amp extreme at lower temps and quieter.

Just bear in mind that it is RGB, but the cooler has yellow decals on it.

Other than that it's an excellent choice.

Tried paint modding?

Probably paint that with plastidip.

Disassembling it might be a pain in the ass tho.

Go with plastidip(it can be peeled off), so you can RMA it in case shit hits the fan.
