Just get thermal paste :/

Mayo can be used as a temporary solution but not for more than a day or two.

Toothpaste has been shown to work, but it is not at all recommended for actual use. It won't last more than maybe a few hours to a day or two. The only thing I would recommend is real thermal compound, even if you have to get something cheap.

It is highly unlikely as Toothpaste is not known for thermal transfer properties and no CPU's aren't meant to be squeaky clean...

And you can expect that temperature to only increase as it dries further, until it gets to near the same as with no thermal paste.
