Soon i'm going to buy an ssd. Atm I only have one hdd where my windows is installed on aswell as all my other files. I want to upgrade to windows 10 aswell at the same time. With this upgrade i wanted to fully clean my hdd. But I dont know the best way to do this.

Download the windows 10 iso here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Put it on a USB drive

Reboot to BIOS

Make sure to set boot priority to boot on the USB first

Reboot again

It should boot to the USB. Now you can configure your windows 10 install to be on the ssd.

i don't think it'll wipe your hdd when you do this. so technically you'll have two windows 10 installations. but the ssd version should activate. then you can wipe the hdd, but i would keep your old windows files
