GTX 980ti - Premier Pro CC not rendering?

Hey everyone, I can't seem to get my GTX 980ti to render my videos with Adobe Premier Pro CC. I have turned on the setting when you start a new project that enables CUDA and while rendering I see my GPU spike from 0% to 30% every once in a while, I assume for frame blending, but my CPU stays at a constant 80-90% load. How can I get this to work?
