Cherry mx mechanical keyboard around $150 or less?

DarkEnergy

Sorry for any errors, I'm on my phone.

After using my g105 membrane keyboard for 2 years too long, I want to get something of higher quality. My keys are becoming stuck and ugh, membrane.

Right now I'm looking at the Ducky shine 3/4 and the corsair k70 RGB. All cherry mx browns. I've tested both and there's something weird about the key placement on the k70 that keeps making me press more than one key sometimes. I do t know why. It's weird. Anyway, I noticed that the Ducky shine 5 is out (I think?) but not available in stores or online as far as I can see on my phone. Do you think this keyboard would be around ~$160 or would it be in the 200s? If in the 200s I'll look at the shine 3/4 or k70. Any opinions or suggestions on these keyboards or other good keyboards?

I meant that if it's near 200, I'll look at the cheaper ducky shine 3/4 or k70

I've heard good things about Das Keyboards. They are sturdy and durable. The keys are really good.

I've tried a Das Keyboard 4 Professional at store. It's pretty good.

They're not that great. Besides, they use filco stabilizers, and may or may not use Cherry switches anymore...

Source: I own a Das 4 Ultimate, but I got a launch one that still used cherry, so I'm not 100% sure if they've switched. Altogether not worth the almost $200 I paid for it.

@OP, the shine 4 is a really good keyboard, if I knew what the 5 would be, I'd let you know.... I assume it will be ~$180 though...

Hey! New SIgnature!

The price for the Shine 5 is $229 AUD. If you don't care about RGB and if you are fine with blue LEDs, look into the Ducky One as it is $149 AUD. Source: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=113_1361

If it's $160 USD then I might just get the shine 5 and wait for it to come out in NA
