Why is it that Origin works at my college but Steam doesnt

Because they know to block Steam, but no one uses Origin, so why block it?

I thought Steam > Origin

 

 

and all the good games are on Steam :(

Try running it with a proxy and see if it works.

wont even connect to a VPN

 

 

and they blocked the ports to Steam

because my IT class was cancelled and its a 3hr class

 

didnt know it was cancelled, didnt check the college website :(

That sucks. Do you have any assignments due in, or any you can improve? I'd just do them and not let the time go to waste if possible.

pvz didnt work, bf3 didnt work, neither can connect to EA servers so i guess im off to Mirrors Edge :(
