New build, unsure if card will fit in case?

Shaur

This is my friend's current build: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/jq2tTW

Will the 980 fit into the R4? And if possible can you proof the build?

The Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case supports video cards up to 430mm long, but video cards over 295mm may block drive bays. Since the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 4GB WINDFORCE 3X Video Card is 312mm long, some drive bays may not be usable.

you're gonna be taking out the top drive bay for airflow either way.

EDIT: may i point you to the more refined define R5 as a possibility as well? master race.

Just becouse i saw the motherboard you have is the same as i got, it might be failing after 6-7 days, but flashing the bios to the latest version fixed this issue (bios dident boot before 3-4 mins after power button was pressed)
