Pentium, i5, or i7?

So I'm looking at the partlist for my build, and I'm thinking "I can start with a Pentium G3258, then upgrade to i5-4690K or i7-4790K,

but I'm wondering should I get the G3258 then upgrade to i5-4690K or i7-4790K

or should I get the i5-4690K then upgrade to i7-4790K, or finally just get the i7-4790K

i5-4690K - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/7Y9mcf

i7-4790K - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/hZxpsY

I plan on gaming, recording, streaming (live), and video editing

Really just depends do u have the money now or no? aha. Buying the i7 now will be cheaper in the long run instead of buying then upgrading since ur only buying one cpu

1. Get a better PSU.

2. an i5 4690k will be enough for streaming and such, I would know, that's what I've been doing on mine xD

3. An i7 will do better than the i5 at recording videos, streaming, and editing videos, but also is much more expensive, if OC'ing isn't very important to you then get an xeon, roughly the same performance as an i7 with the price of an i5, just no overclocking or integrated graphics.

Don't get the pentium, get an i5, i7, or a xeon.

If you've got the money now and are going to upgrade anyway, why waste money getting lower end stuff. So, if you have the money get the i7

No it's more like do you want to drive a car with 3 wheels until you can upgrade to an Audi or Ferrari or just start with the Audi all together

I'd highly advice on not getting the pentium for streaming, the two cores won't cut it at all!

Try getting the i5 build with a better graphic card. (e.g r9 390) if your not a regular streamer and video editor, if you edit a and stream regularly get the i7.

The 4690k is fine unless you have money to burn. I'm guessing the video editing is just dinking around with YouTube or live stream stuff you've recorded.

Or if you are currently earning enough cash money right at this moment because of the live streaming or video editing to purchase the 4790k. Not "well one day I want to earn money from it"

Don't purchase a CPU with the intention of upgrading later, it wastes money.  Just save up if you don't need it in a week.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

Are you overclocking and what is your actual budget?

I don't an "actual" budget I plan on getting the expensive parts first then buying parts as i get the money, so I'd get GPU and CPU first and go from there
