Im not raid 0'ing my OS drive If you're not RAIDing your OS drive, then no, you don't need to reinstall your OS. You will lose whatever is on the SSDs you plan to RAID 0 though. Posted August 18, 2015 Question in the title Hey there, Generally speaking you don't need to reinstall your OS in order to create a RAID array from other drives. It depends if you are doing software or hardware RAID. If you are going for hardware I would follow the manual of the motherboard (or the controller card if you are doing it with a separate one). If you are going for simple software RAID you shouldn't have problems doing it from Disk Management. Captain_WD.
