Another lead: look at the coords in the youtube video, most of the coords have 3301 in them.

Also most of the coords are in seattle, is it possible they have hq there?

what i think is that it is a wide spread group with many branches and they have quite a few branches in seattle cuz i remember reading somewhere they have branches in major cities, but all the clues point to europe more specifically austria.

 I've converted the word Cicada in number using this table (http://cicada3301.org/gematria/) and i've discovered this numbers: 13 31 13 97 89 97, they are coordinates to a street near a cemetery on the Philippines.

Why didn't they used imgur like the first website ? I believe that cicada3301 and these two website are not from the same author.

cicada3301 is NOT an official website, nor did it ever claim to be, also I think the jpeg might have some kind of hidden message somewhere, I've already tried decoding it as base64 and replacing all the white with black to try and reveal something but I got nothing.

The twitter account can't be about with 3301 because it looks totally unrelated and 3301 started (if i remember right) on 4chan in  2004.

Street view is unuseful since last time it was updated was 2010. The signposts started popping up in 2012.

The twitter account was used for the 2013's challenge. We are making some research here in Brazil 'bout it. I asked for a group of people to check the image in Florianopolis. We just gotta wait for it.
