Hey everyone! I would like some feed back on what keyboard you guys would get and why? These are the two main keyboards i looked into.

Software on both sides is, Meh.

Coloring on the Razer is far better, hands down.

Build-quality is a hit and miss on both sides. Corsair generally comes out on top. It comes down mainly to preference. If you don't have a problem with the admittedly decent quality plastic over metal then it comes down to feel of the keys.

 

The only real winner should go to the keyboard that feels best. If you can, try to get into a shop to see how each one feels, almost undoubtedly though they will have a MX Red k70 on display, but the razer KB will feel pretty similar to what you'll get online.

We can't decide what's most comfortable, that decision is all on you. Try if you can, both of the key types out, and figure which one is best for you.

You can find them, just not RGB.

Id go Corsair solely for Cherry switches.

I cant back up Corsair's software because Ive never used it, the one thing about Razer is their Synapse software, its a pleasure to use.

I love my k70 with blues.  So fun to type on!

Do your self a favor and don't get a Chroma. I owned one and went through 2 of them due to QC on them being terrible.

They're also better for text-and-numerics work, because your fingers can get to them easier.

Haha, you've gotta be kidding me. Have you ever tried entering spreadsheets of data with the numbers at the top?

It takes hours longer than a simple numpad.

Maybe when you grow up you'll experience it

60% and 80% is better than full size for gaming and general use.

 

I don't argue with hippies who thinks that 60% is viable for professional peoples working with numbers and spreadsheets and cells. The simple fact that you can work on the numpad efficiently with one hand beats all the arguments regarding efficiency of typing numbers on a 60%

 

Really isn't that much difference between the BW and Corsair, but if you are the flavor of the month kind of person you should go with a Corsair because you'll have more friends on the internet saying how good it is. But the reality is the are both overrated and expensive for what they are.
