Looks fine to me. For only web browsing and word processing solfware it will do the job well. If you want to save a tiny bit of cash go for a single stick of 8gb ram

Mainboard:ROG-STRIX-B360-G-GAMING/Cpu:I5 8400 /Gpu: Galax RTX 2070 /Ram: Corsair Vengeance 16 GB DDR4/ Storage:1TB HDD 2 Corsair SSD PSU : Corsair 550W/Cooling: Silverstone Air Cooler/ / Case : Corsair/Keyboard:Razer Chroma TKL/Mouse:Mionix Castor+Steelseries Qck Mass/Headphone:V Moda M100

Quote me if you when me to reply to something.

No need for a 430W PSU. Also, 120GB of total storage is really low, if youre on a budget you shouldnt get an SSD, get a HDD.

its one of the cheapest non absolute crap psu s and he doesnt need the space, (hes had a laptop for 4 years and has never hit 70gb of used storage and thats with win 10 on there xD, so 120 gb is just fine), i want the ssd performance though.

That SSD is, questionable, better to get a 1TB HDD running at 7200rpm

could do but the fury stuff at £30 and 1866 mhz is reliable and just so cheap

Damn...if I waited 1 month to build my server/back-up PC/Lan machine, I could have got better ram for 20 quid less (it is some corsair 8gb 1333mhz ram and had a strict budget of 200 as well). Oh well, it's mostly used as a server for TS/CS:GO so the 560 it has is more than sufficient.

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

The Sandisk X110 isn't a shit SSD (beats my Crucial M500) and is ridiculously cheap.

That being said, what you're getting is quite a poor PC, especially for gaming even if you slap in a dedicated GPU down the road. The G3258 is just too crappy in multi-threaded performance. As a web browsing rig, okay, and in certain games with a dedicated GPU it can be quite good, but in games like GTAV, it'll just suck.

Buy a used pc from your local classifieds. It will be a lot better than buying new cheap parts

Why not a Athlon X4 860K? :)

Its a nice little quad-core! But you need a GPU unless you get the A10-7850K.

I thought that browsing internet word and general use would benifit more from faster single core performance.

yes, it does run better on intel, but we are talking 1-2 seconds difference (unless a web page is extremely poorly written and has lots and lots of animations and flash players).... My friend has a APU build, a 7850k. It seems just as nippy as my mildly OCd i7 4790k. Although MY CPU is more then a order of magnitude faster in every measurable and imaginary way.

You can play using only the APU just fine, you just wont get super high FPS. However, FPS isnt the whole story here. Frame timing is the crucial bit. And this is where the APU shines. While it may not get 60FPS in AAA tiles, it will be smooth at 30FPS. This smoothness is what matters, because it makes 30FPS completely tolerable (unlike low and super high end GPUs, which when finally dipping below 30FPS usually stutters badly).

You could go for a Athlon 860k + 750Ti. A good combo, but it would cost a bit more (like 65-70 USD more)...

I dunno what type of monitor you got, but at 1280x720p, 1366x768, 1600x900 and 1920x1080p. the APU will do just fine for light gaming.

I am not saying that the APU is better. I am saying it saves you money by giving you what you need + a little more, then buying something much more expensive that will probably never realize its true potential, ever.
