Axiom Verge is the Metroid game Nintendo refuses to make.

I'm sure most console gamers on here (myself included) also have some reasonably gaming-capable PC.

GET AXIOM VERGE. Bought it yesterday, was totally floored by it.

Especially if you like classic Metroid, this game is perhaps one of the best metroidvania games to come out in a long time. Especially refreshing to play after the news that there won't be a real Metroid game coming this year or at any point in the near future.

Axiom Verge is to Metroid what Shovel Knight is to Mega Man. Anyone who enjoys traditional metroidvania games and classic game design owe it to themselves to check this game out.

Wait, so you want to say Nintendo doesn't want to milk a franchise introduced in late 1980s?

WHAT UNIVERSE IS THIS

OT: Axiom Verge is good though, can't argue with that.

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

Yes!

It looks awesome!

It's an indie game made by 1 person IIRC and looks sick !

Yeah it's a 1-man project. Very impressive given how polished it feels, plus the music is right on par with Metroid. It's loaded with pure atmosphere.
