A10 5800k vs old gtx 460

My friend bought a pretty budget combo deal with just a 5800k, and I have an old gtx 460. I know the 460 is definitely aged but do you think it's worth giving it to him?

depends on how good of a friend he is

 

a 460 is worth about $50

so if you think your friendship is worth more than that then give it to him

otherwise sell it or something

Oh no I doubt I'll ever use it or even sell it, I just meant for performance is it better than the 5800k, which by your guys answer I'm assuming it is. Thank you :D

Honestly, if you have to ask, I doubt it's worth it. Hoarding for days.

Yeah, its performance would be better. I own a GTX 460 and I've compared it to my friend's A10 5800K. It depends on the game and resolution, but in most cases the GTX460 will come out on top.

It would probably help, yes. That said, yeah the GTX 460 has deff aged and it can struggle sometimes with Bioshock Infinite on medium settings @1080. I've noticed a few scenes where it just struggles and my FPS drop below 30.
