CS:GO insanely low FPS

ker2015

Well, before a week or so I built a computer with an i5-4690k, a reference EVGA 980 Ti, and 16GB of RAM. Somehow I am running CS:GO at 70 FPS with the linked settings. When I go down to 1080p I get an even worse FPS. It's not V-Sync because my monitor is 60Hz.

PLEASE HELP

On a 980ti??? That's really odd.... Try turning down the shaders option.

On my 970, I get like 150-200 fps on average at 1440p... even while recording in ShadowPlay.

Yeah, did you upgrade to Windows 10? Your driver likely just needs an update. They should have cleaner ones coming within a week or so.

How is 70fps insanely low?

For CS:GO, it usually is. And for CS:GO on a freaking 980ti, that makes no sense to be that low without VSYNC.

Yep.

That's your problem, Win10 doesn't like games atm. Wait for a couple of driver and windows updates and it should be fixed.

Oh I dont play the game so I was under the impression that 70fps while not the best for 980ti certainly an enjoyable experience
