Getting a Macbook Pro 13" 2015 vs. Waiting for the 2016 model

Planning on getting a Macbook for University (Computer Science Undergraduate) but I'm wondering if I should hold out for the 2016 model.

 

I heard the Air is switching to the Core M processors, do you think the Macbook Pro would also be doing so? If so then I'll just get this years model. Other than that, what other updates do you think they could do other than the Skylake processors?

Yeah I could, but the thing is I want something with similar battery life, and weight. All I could find were things like the Dell XPS and Lenovo Yoga.

I'd rather just get the Mac as I've never used it and am genuinely interested in learning to use this operating system, plus the ability to make iPhone applications is an amazing benefit for programmers.

If it were me I'd wait till 2016 just so some prices drop, then get this years model.

 

If you're dedicated enough you can get a good deal on eBay, and if not there are plenty of other used Mac sites that offer a good value.
