1080p monitors that overclock well?

Can anyone recommend a decent 1080p monitor that can overclock pretty decently at a decent price($100-200)? Also I am curious, could you overclock a vg24qe past it's 144 hz refresh rate?

How the fck do you overclock a monitor?

Main gaming pc: Lian-Li Lancool II Mesh Performance - Ryzen 5 5600X - MSI GTX1080Ti Armor - AMD Wraith Spire RGB - ASUS TUF Gaming B550 Plus - Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 2x8GB 3200MHz - 500GB M.2 (and a few other drives)

The refresh rate can be overclocked.

I don't think you're gonna be overclocking ANYTHING past 144.

A good overclock on a 60Hz panel would be ~75Hz, 90 if you're really lucky. You're better off just spending a few extra $$ for a native 120 or 144Hz one than relying on overclocking it.

When in doubt, re-format.

Spend money on gaining HZ.

OC'ing a monitor is great and all.. but you get SO LITTLE, if anything.

 

Done it myself a few times, an extra 5-10hz, it aint no big deal...

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

That's what I was thinking, I just had to make sure. I'm kind of a cheapskate lol.
