jos

Probably going to stick with tor until the National Spying Association is confirmed not to be monitoring hornet

They've already compromised TOR so......

What is that?

The deepweb? Ever heard of darkweb? They're the same thing.

The "deep web" is simply any web page that isn't indexed by a search engine and is not the same as the dark net.

Irony, considering the NSA helped fund TOR, and has known to be monitoring it ;)

Though I suppose it's the enemy you know versus the unknown.

To my knowledge I thought it was the U.S. Navy that had funded Tor, or maybe the NSA funded it as well, not sure. But they're both branches of the military either way.

I heard they sell guns and drugs there...

Everything you can imagine being illegal is on there , be cautious ...

... Life is a game and the checkpoints are your birthday , you will face challenges where you may not get rewarded afterwords but those are the challenges that help you improve yourself . Always live for tomorrow because you may never know when your game will be over ... I'm totally not going insane in anyway , shape or form ... I just have broken English and an open mind ...

They sell drugs, guns, passports, child porn. But some of it is pretty good. They have libraries of books, forums on computing, software.

Could have been the Navy, either way, the US Gov't recently invested another $1Bn USD into it's development.

Whether it's the Navy or not, if the Navy has gotten back-door access into it, then you can bet the NSA got access too. There are plenty of weaknesses within TOR. If the NSA sets up their own systems as relays, that provides plenty of attack vectors.

Of course, TOR is still pretty good - better then nothing for security - but by no means is it invulnerable. If the NSA wants to single you out, I doubt TOR would stop them.

It was DARPA that funded the creation of TOR. It's original use was to allow people in nations like China, where the internet is censored completely, to circumvent that censoring.

It's not all child porn, drugs and guns. In fact, statistically speaking, more Whistleblowers use TOR than people looking for child porn:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tor_%28anonymity_network%29#Usage

By far, most of it is drugs though - but a HUGE margin. Many people use it in dictator countries or countries with extreme invasive anti-privacy laws/practices - such as Iran and China.

Please stop that. Stop it now. You only capitalize the first letter of a sentence. Is English your first language? If not, then I'll forgive your ignorance. But in either case, you should stop it. Capitalizing every word actually makes you type slower, and is significantly more work and effort.

It's not natural at all. Only the beginning of sentences, or the first letter of names, are supposed to be capitalized.

Fair enough. DARPA invests and/or helps invent so much of the shit we use today. If I recall correctly, it's intended use back then was for Allied Intelligence Agencies (CIA, NSA, MI5, MI6, CSEC, etc) to be able to securely communicate while in "dangerous" territory.

People will focus on your typing because it's annoying, distracting, and very hard to read. You're going to need to know how to type correctly when you grow up (I assume you're younger). If you type like that as an Adult, then say goodbye to ever getting hired by anyone for a professional/well paying job.

I assume you're "self taught" for typing. This is the reason why Typing classes still need to be taught in schools :P

Well the fact that English is not your main language does forgive slightly, but I don't know of any language that requires you to Capitalize every letter. I assume your native language does not do that either.

It might be tough, but you seriously should start practicing every day. Do a 10 minute typing practice session every day, and you'll switch to proper typing in no time.

The problem with TOR is that the larger TOR gets, the slower it gets. The more users, the more relays needed, the slower it becomes, since each relay needs encryption to the next relay. You're getting more and more chains into the puzzle before you reach the destination. It might feel fast now, but it also heavily depends on how many relays you had to go through.
