*facepalm

One sided benchmarks !

I'll just quote a part of your original post.

390 but it is too huge because it needs massive cooling, doesn't have good outputs, and doesn't overclock for the money you're paying. Take a look at this

http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/powercolor_pcs_r9_390_8gb/9.htm

That's the bottom line.

Yea..... I don't think that was your point...

Just playing the same game every other benchmark is. So I don't think it's too hard to see it was my point.

Why do you want to play the same game when you are against it?

It's for effect. As a coach would show his players a good or bad way to run a play for effect I did the same.

Nice way of putting "I'm being a hypocrite"

Anyhow don't do this the next time. You'll be called out by others faster than I did.

Slightly. I still had a point behind my intentions though unlike most people who just post a Jay's video and call it scripture.

I understand what you're trying to do. But there's a better way to do it. Remind people that a 1550mhz 970 can match the performance of a 1200mhz 390.

Most people post it because its from Jay's and its probably the first video in the search results. The worst thing to do is to shove that benchmark into their

faces. People will probably be expecting a fair golden vs golden benchmark if you're telling them otherwise.

I don't know why anyone has managed to not do a benchmark like that! Seems like previous benchmarks haven't been this lopsided for the most part. Too bad Linus hasn't covered more 970 cards!

You don't have to link a benchmark. You can also link a video with a high OC 970. The point will still be there.

like this video that Kyle did for example. That's one fast 970.

As Darth Vader "you assume too much." I ment just any source that was more balanced.

Edit: Just watch the video. I didn't catch what his overclock was. Did he say it? I haven't heard of EVGA cards doing too well for overclocking but at least it's the FTW not SSC.

What was wrong with it..?

Or.. What did you not like about it.?

Well I play surround. Seemed not to like it well and even single screen it just wasn't better then one my 3 year old cards. Im sure if consumed less power and that's what I was looking for. I just got a sc acx as it was the only one with dual dvi ports at the store. May have been the reason.

I've already said, silicon lottery. Msi cards aren't binned too yet some reach 1600mhz while some overclock like potatoes. On the net you'll find that some G1 cards can't go over 1500mhz.

Yeah we all know about the silicon lottery ever since cavemen fought over their favorite sticks. Never heard of an evga card even reachin 150p mhz lol

Yes. Yes I have lol. There aren't many EVGA overclock videos or reviews out there with them past 1450 that I've seen. I haven't looked through databases though. I got better things to do!

The amount of uppercase letters.

You're saying the amount of uppercase letters I use is too high? lolwut. I just use grammar. Except for the plural of "games" with an accidental use of an apostrophe.
