If someone hurts themselves on the firepole then Linus is going have to pay. We don't want that. At least I don't want that.

 

He does a lot of fun stuff for his staff and that should be enough IMO.

Can't he have anyone who wants to use it sign a contract or something stating that Linus is not responsible if they hurt themselves?

People would still get hurt. Over what? Basically nothing.

 

This idea should be scrapped. Who even came up with this idea?

 

 

Linus did, funny enough. And it was, they're not putting one in, linus and other's have said over and over again it was a JOKE they're not putting one in, because they can't put one in.

 

Apparently when they were drawing up drafts for the new office, he added in a firepole to it, and it became a joke there.
