Edit: if u really dont know linus was considering putting in a pole at the new office.

It was in one of the office update videos - Slick I believe mentioned putting a fire pole into the office going down to the main floor from the upstairs. He also mentioned that it could be used as an intro in videos(sliding down the pole into the shot).

It´s a joke.

Linus puts random 3:rd options in the Polls he occasionally make on the WAN show, Turnip is the more popular one and it got stuck.
