New Gigabyte P55W gaming laptops reviews (Broadwell, GTX 970M)

junky

notebookcheck, gaminglaptopsjunky

They have somewhat different conclusions with big difference in display measurements (low brightness in the second review), but:

1. The P55W gets warm, maybe hot under load

2. Battery performance even with Optimus is so-so

3. However, good gaming performance, as expected

4. keyboard is good, but not great

5. Sound is mediocre/average

6. Not a lot of connection ports..

It doesn't look to me like the P55W is exceptional or have any special features that others have and what's more, it costs the same, though for $1300 for the basic version it's pretty cheap for a laptop with a GTX 970M, Broadwell and an OS

I find the new GT72 1445 more interesting with its GSync and replaceable MXM

Like OP said they don't seem special or anything just another regular gaming laptop.
