Someone asked this probably before, but lately, past week I've been getting random ads, mostly on YouTube. I've been using AdBlock (not AdBlock Plus or AdBlock ABC or w/e) and this is the first time I've ever gotten an ad after I installed the very same ap, like couple years back. Any ideas? Do you guys get this?

He's not using Adblock Plus.

Also, I still have yet to see a single Google as with Adblock Plus.

Yes, I know of this, and it's specifically why I said, "not AdBlock Plus".

update it.

There isn't an option to update it. I reinstalled and it's still the same version as I had before.

Anyway, the re-installation seems to have fixed it for now. If anything goes wrong, I'll bump again and try to figure it out. For now I'm dropping it. If anyone else had a problem, reinstall, for now.

you need to update subscriptions in adblock then, anyway i would advice to disable adblock everywhere except anoying sites where ads are very extreme and pointless, like ads target to girls and such.

porn sites.

He is the hero this forum deserves but not the one it needs right now.So we'll hunt him because he can take it because he is not our hero he is a silent guardian

Just got a new ad on YouTube, friends report that they get none with "AdBlock Plus" so I'm going to install it and see what happens. This is getting me really mad lately....

Update it. they are also now letting what they say are acceptable adds through. You can disable that in the options though.

I updated it, and it was the latest version. Also I didn't find any such thing on the options to disable it. It was already tuned to block all adds.
