Posted July 7, 2015 How to enable Intel XMP on MSI B85M-G43 Motherboard? It is officially supported on My Mobo As per Official Site.... Please Help... Without a Z-board your no doubt limited to 1600Mhz with that chipset. I've had my 2400Mhz memory limited to 1600mhz (By Enabling XMP for all those who say "just do that") and it says it applies, reboot and back to 1600mhz it is. This was on both the Asrock H97 and also the H97 Anniversary ed,..Bought this Z97-K and its back to normal. It is forced everytime (unless boards specifically disable that now) Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Posted July 7, 2015 Why ? i actually forgot completely, now that you typed that your ram is hyperx fury. Hyperx fury doesn't have xmp. Above, you can see that the XMP profile option is grayed out since the PnP memory doesn't have XMP profiles. http://www.futurelooks.com/kingston-hyperx-fury-16gb-1866mhz-ddr3-memory/ Location: Kaunas, Lithuania, Europe, Earth, Solar System, Local Interstellar Cloud, Local Bubble, Gould Belt, Orion Arm, Milky Way, Milky Way subgroup, Local Group, Virgo Supercluster, Laniakea, Pisces–Cetus Supercluster Complex, Observable universe, Universe. Posted July 7, 2015 Check it in CPU-Z, as I didn't have to enable mine manually for it to be at 1600MHz. P.S. It will show up as your speed / 2, so if it says 800MHz, it'll be at 1600MHz. This is due to DDR (dual data rate).
