Every time I click on a program on my second screen the primar running program minimizes itsself. Of course, thats part of the "windows" principle, but it destroys the whole multi monitor usefullness while gaming, when I tab out of the game anyways.

Is there any workaround /registry hack???

I don't know of anything like that but you could just play in windowed mode.

The only way to do it is to set every game to fullscreen windowed mode. I'm not sure exactly what causes it, but I think it's part of DirectX (and possibly OpenGL). There's nothing I'm aware of you can do globally.

This is normal behavior. The minimize action is done by the game itself. They usually do it, to allow game error message to be viewed, and also, Alt+Tab out of the game.

Basically the moment the game detects that it was unfocused, the game minimizes.

Usually the game should lock the mouse to lock on the screen center position, so that you cant' move the mouse on your second screen. This is also done so that you can continuously move without the need to lift the mouse. For example if you play an FPS game, and you slide your mouse left or right, your character will turn on himself continuously. It won't block, like a mouse cursor that reaches the edge of the visible screen area.

The game settings may have a "windowed borderless" or "windowed fullscreen" mode which will stop it from minimizing.  Will also hit performance a little though.

Running game minimized restricts some graphics options, in some games. ie. TF2 won't let brightness changes while in windowed mode.
