32-Bit CPUs, still in sale?

I was wondering, are 32-Bit CPU's still in sale?

Any shops where these can be bought.

No modern CPUs are 32-bit.

So they do not produce them anymore.

Then my question is, what are the cheap 64-bit CPus out there (intel only).

I'm afraid not, excuse my curiousity but why do you need an 32-bit CPU?

Computer's don't make errors. What they do, they do on purpose.

All CPU's support 32 bit, but if you want one that only supports 32 bit then you will need to find an old Pentium 4 or similar.

Okay. Thank you.

Well,  was looking for cheap CPUs, but I guess I should just go for 64Bit anyway.

Well all CPU's are x86...

Meaning that 32Bit CPUs are 32Bit and that 64Bit CPUs can do the 32BNit takss. Is that what you are saying?

If you're just looking for 'cheap CPUs' you'll probably find something that you can't find a motherboard for.

If you tell us what platform you're looking at then we can give you the appropriate links on Intel ARK.

Sig under construction.

Intel G3258 is a cheap option, depends on what socket board you have/want to use.

To clarify are you building a complete new system or do you need to replace your current CPU (already owning other components)

Aren't the BayTrail atom SoCs 32bit only?

EDIT: Nope, I think I was thinking of the prev gen clovertrails.

New system. I do Free Software Development so a coding machine is what I am building, so I do not need much speed at all, but something that doesn't hang and lag on everything.
