Modem Restarts Usually While Playing CSGO

Hello there. SO recently I have had a problem. Whenever I play CSGO, whether competitive or not, I get a connection error, I go to check the modem and see that it has restarted, as well as my router. I play using ethernet and it has become annoying. I have had a 2hr ban in CSGO Comp, and what's next is a one day ban and then a 7 day ban, which I couldn't live through. What should I do, not play CSGO for a while or what? This only has happened to me while playing CSGO, strangely on any mode. Sometimes the internet comes back in like 2-10 mins which is a problem that I detest. Any ideas or helpful suggestions. I have TWC as my ISP

Bane of my fucking life when playing CSGO.

What were you banned for?....hacking i guess.

 

I noticed you have not mentioned anything about QoS(quality of service, on your router. also, router don't restart on their own unless it is faulty, hacked or there was a power loss.

I noticed you have not mentioned anything about QoS(quality of service, on your router. also, router don't restart on their own unless it is faulty, hacked or there was a power loss.

Well let me educate you.

 

I am not a hacker, neither is the OP... proof of that below.. i would not be in MG2 if i was hacking..

And CSGO will give you a non permanent ban ranging from 30 minutes to 7 days, this is due to team killing, quitting the game whilst in a match, or being kicked too many times.

Internet disconnect will make the game quit, so the game thinks you quit, thus giving you a ban.

 

Otherwise known as a competitive cooldown.

If csgo makes people that passionate it is defiantly something to try on my new a10...thank you

Incredibly tough game... especially when you hit higher ranks...

 

Ranks earned are something to brag about in this game unlike other games that just throw you ranks regardless of skill.

Well that is not a ban just a time out something or other anyway, have you done quality of service in your router yet for your games and PC? If not try setting it up.

Jayztwocents had a similiar issue with his TWC. check for a firmware update. if that doesn't work then uh call up TWC, and explain the issue and make em fix it! 

Is it bad that my dream setup only costs a few thousand not counting the obutto?
